The Distra Universal Payments Platform (UPP) ATM device driving caters for the immediate device and interface management of the popular ATM devices on the market today.
The real-time capabilities of the Distra UPP allow for online monitoring and management of ATM devices. These include cash levels, alarms and device status, and, where supported, the Distra UPP enables operators to send commands and unsolicited requests to the ATM, to query the device or for example, to set the device in or out of service.
Supporting these features, Distra provides complete ATM 'states and screens' management capability, using Distra's Switch Builder configuration management tool. Switch Builder's ATM configuration capability enables configuration of processing of each ATM without the need to purchase additional tools. For example, the tool enables maintenance of:
- General paramaters and default values, cash configurations and device timers
- Screen layout, text and graphics with sound and video capabilities where supported
- Receipt layout in multiple languages
- Keyboard buffer mapping and selection of internal switch services
- Card acceptance tables
The benefit is superior integration of the ATM with institution's core processing and the ability to expose more services to customer at the ATM. For example, additional information can be readily integrated with the cardholder's receipt using Distra's GUI based configuration tools.
