As part of Oracle's Global Payments initiative Oracle is working with a number of Independent Software Vendors (ISV) that provide open payments solutions on common Oracle/ Linux infrastructure. Oracle led the first phase payments integration and performance testing of two ISV solution sets; the Distra Switch and Synoran's payments application suite.
HP provided its laboratory facilities in Littleton Mass and the results demonstrated rapid integration capabilities where cheque and electronic payments data was captured into a single all payments hub. As part of the tests, the Distra Switch supported 1200 tps (full POS/ ATM EFT request/ response processing) and in flight transaction integrity across 4 x four CPU HP Linux servers.
