Distra, an Australian organisation at the heart of payments transformation, has appointed Metia, a global digital marketing firm, as its transatlantic agency of record. Metia will develop and implement a strategic press and analyst relations (PR and AR) programme, utilising online and offline tools, aimed at raising awareness of Distra’s approach to payments amongst UK and US industry influencers.

A pivotal element of the programme will be focused on SIBOS 2009, to be held in Hong Kong from September 14-18. Metia will implement a strategic awareness campaign around the event, one of the largest on the financial services calendar.
