Distra will be sponsoring the European Payments Consulting Association’s annual EPCA Conference, March 22 – 24 to be held at Disneyland Paris. This year’s conference will examine the topic ‘Reaching new frontiers – extending the payments business’ and will discuss the opportunities and industry innovations aimed at delivering real value to customers.
At the conference Kenneth Larsen, Founder and Chief Technology Officer and George Ogden, Global Sales Director, Distrawill be available for comment on topics such as:
· How action is required to ensure organisations do not get held back by legacy thinking and legacy technology in today’s changing regulatory environment;
· How SEPA and the PSD have brought greater focus on innovation, allowing increased competition from non-traditional payment institutions such as retail groups and corporates;
· How financial and non-financial payment institutions can ensure they are keeping up with the changing payments landscape including areas such as real-time processing, and what solutions are available to help them do so.
Distra will also highlight the successful deployment of the Distra Universal Switch with Payfair, the first European Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) compliant payment card for European consumers, merchants and banks, earlier this year with the first implementation of its “One card for One Europe” system at Belgian supermarkets, beginning with Colruyt near Brussels.
